We have open space at the gallery until the Peach Festival in July. So look through your collection and bring it on down!

    Art Camp 2014

    Teachers Needed!

We are in need of teachers for this year’s Art Camp. The camp will run 9 weeks and starts June 9 thru August 11th. The first two weeks in July will not have camp due to the Peach Festival. Also, the last two weeks in August will be excluded for the kids to prepare for “real” school. We will need two teachers per class. Age of the children will run from 6-9 and 10-12. We need more teachers for the 6-9 age group. PLEASE think this over and let us know if you can participate and what age group you would like. Contact Kathy Cunning at kathycunning@sbcglobal.net if you have questions. This was a great success last year, and we’re hoping for the same this year!

    Scuplture Workshop

    With Dale Martin

Coming in June! The workshop will be open to adult beginner and intermediate sculpture students and classes will be held every Wednesday Evening and Saturday Afternoon in June. Wednesday classes will be from 6:30 to 9:00 PM and Saturday classes will be from 3:00 to 6:00 PM beginning on Wednesday, June 4, 2014. Students will be using an oil-based plastaline clay which is a clay used mostly for sculptures to be cast in bronze or other media and it is non hardening. It cannot be fired but remains pliable for years and can be worked over and over again. Each student will create a sculpture of their choice but a photo of what they intend to sculpt should be brought to class to use as reference by the instructor and student. Some sculpture examples will be furnished to those that wish to use them as reference material. Contact Kathy Cunning at kathycunning@sbcglobal.net or 817-694-0246 with any questions you may have.
